Little Spoon Café

Concept Project | Design & Print | Branding

Dreams and ideas, known to grow in coffee shops, where the mind wanders and body relaxes. This is my idea of the perfect coffee shop, a cafe for those individuals who are dreamers and creatives.

The Setting

The Little Spoon Cafe, imagine a cosy, small but bustling cafe in downtown Toronto, where university students tap away on their MacBooks and the air is filled with freshly ground coffee beans. You order your latte and a warm croissant, and as you turn around you bump into a tall, dark featured gentleman. You excuse yourself, he smiles. You walk to your table next to the red brick wall thinking to yourself, "That guy looks familiar". After several minutes, that thought catches up to you, it was non-other than Hugh Jackman.

The Reality

Let’s step back to reality (oops, there goes gravity). This is a little bit of fun, a possible piece of branding for a cosy little cafe, the colour palette is minimal, pastel blue and dark cream. There are two icons which are important to the design, these are the line art skyline of Toronto, and the blue spoon.

Designs, trademarks, and logos of “Little Spoon Cafe” are the intellectual property of Martin Madeanu.
